Matthias To Star In “Territoires”

We missed this news before, but looks like Matthias has another upcoming project. Earlier this year actor Reda Kateb revealed his next project is going to be “Territoires” alongside Matthias with director David Oelhoffen. Screendaily reported the following story:

Alongside touring with Django, Kateb is also preparing to reunite on set again with film-maker David Oelhoffen, on the provisionally titled Territoires.

The pair first collaborated on the Oelhoffen’s 2014 Albert Camus adaptation Far From Men set in Algeria in 1954 at the onset of the country’s war of independence.

“I will play a drugs squad officer. It’s a very human story using the codes of a classic police thriller but in such a way that the film touches on contemporary themes in France. Matthias Schoenaerts is also in the cast.”

Further, Kateb also talked to Eye For Film about the project:

AKT: What’s coming up for you?
RK: I’m going to shoot a movie [Territoires] with the director of Loin Des Hommes, David Oelhoffen. I am starring with Matthias Schoenaerts. You know him?

AKT: Yes, he is great in [Alice Winocour’s] Disorder [Maryland].
RK: We’re going to be the two main characters in this one. For the moment, that’s what I can talk about.
